ooouch. + your daily Depression chronicles or whatever.
Clearly the fact that while we're in November and there's come cold virus around coupled with the weather being pretty much as warm as it's in May and me going to marches three times last week with heavier clothes than necessary resulted in a hell of a cold and some light flu *headdesk*. While it's light it still feels pretty much like crap and I'll probably skip university tomorrow, which won't be good. *sigh*

Anyway, that said, I figured I could go and do some research since I already did my thousand new words. So I'm researching for some web page comparing prices during the Great Depression to prices today (though I won't ever find what I'm searching for I guess) and I end up in a site called 'Great Depression Recipes'. Where there's stuff such as the Poor Man's Casserole, LIMA BEANS EN CASSEROLE *coughs*, a page called Recipes My Mother made during the Depression, the Poor Man's Bread, the Depression Cake and the Depression Salad. I'm still wondering whether I should bookmark it because it might turn out useful after all or if I should find the whole thing at least a bit hilarious. Also, I found the song for Desmond. In theory, because I only have the lyrics.

Mh, okay, I'm back on the prices and maybe on my history of the United States Compendium. And if tonight I manage I'll probably re-read some Steinbeck. Can't go wrong with that.

Oh, also? Pictures of Bruce Springsteen at Obama's rally yesterday. God. God. Those are such beautiful pictures. I love that man. *sigh* and elise_509, your political mix is made of winning material ;)

I'm so sorry to hear you are sick. Get some rest, keep hydrated, and eat your lima beans! (Squee! That is the best recipe ever!) The other Hume, Rousseau and Locke will still be there when you get back to school. I hope you feel better soon.

P.S. Freckles said Lost Chile has new Ian photos! Maybe that is the cure!

Oh My God. I went to Lost-Chile and I don't know how is it that I didn't fall from the chair. Thanks for the heads up! God, there was one with an anti-Bush shirt or so it seemed that was priceless.

Heee, lima beans indeed! Now I need to have them someplace in that fic, with the recipe and all. I guess they will wait along with Kant and someone else, though since tomorrow is my fullest day of the week I'm not that crazy about the idea of missing it. But since today I wasn't there with my head anyway I'll probably stay at home. Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, I hope so, too. I could cope with the fever, but the cold is completely draining me :/

Heee, being associated with Bruce makes me feel definitely good ;)

I've Been Everywhere. The title, I mean ;) gently suggested by fosfomifira because I couldn't just come up with one *sigh*.

Yeah. I am. Especially since I need information I'm never going to find on the internet *sigh*. But yeah, I need the researching. Not that much since I know enough about the period, but I still need some stuff. One could say I could do it while editing and that's true, but it bothers me to write stuff that I don't have an idea if it's plausible or not ;)
