meme and stuff
Ok, so yesterday I didn't see Clint but two other movies (Clint for today, oh yes.).

Well this is kind... kind of the cutest movie ever made. Ok, I had it for months and I bought it because it's one of the three Johnny Depp ones I haven't seen and it was very cheap but.... hell it's so lovely I could just squee all along.

And I liked an het couple. Well, they were just too cute not to like them but hey, I didn't slash anyone. Really XD johnny does an amazing performance (shit I would LOVE to win him at poker, having him clean my house and cooking sandwiches with an iron.... XDDDDDD), everyone is so nice I can't believe I liked every one of them, the fishes named Stephen and Steven were just teh cuteness and whatever...could someone resist to this?

Well I can't. And it makes you feel good when it's over. Well, very very nice. And nicest het scene ever seen XD

I love old movies and I love James Stewart.

James Stewart seeing giant bunnies is just teh awesomeness XD

Sometimes I think that if they still made movies like they did in the 40s/50s it would be kind of a gain but whatever, this one was very nice, the acting was brilliant and the whole giant invisible bunny thing was just genious. Go, Harvey, go! XD

Mh. Yesterday I went to the english bookshop. Twenty minutes and I was the only one who didn't buy Harry Potter. This kinda scared me but hey I've got some proof that I'm not the only human being in the world who doesn't read/watch/like it or whatever so i'm not feeling all that alone. At least XD

And going to my grandomther's lost-village-in-Sicily's-mountains on the 30th. AURGH. At least last year I found an internet point.... it didn't let me post into LJ or comment but at least I could log in... hope this year they fixed whatever it was. Well, I hope that the internet point still exists because you can't trust something good to stay open in that place but who knows...

Why the hell do I always get to spend my birthday there it's a mystery. I've tried for years not to but I always end there. AURGH.

And now I'd need some help here. I have bought a ton of new books to read (to add to the older ones which I still didn't get to) and so I thought I'd poll a bit and ask for which I should go after I finish the Anne Bronte thing, if I ever manage to.

Poll #1026929 What am I reading at my grandmother's?

So, choose something for me please! XD

Charles Dickens, The pickwick papers
2(50.0%)
Charles Dickens, Our mutual friend
1(25.0%)
E. M. Forster, Howard's end
0(0.0%)
Johnathan Lethem, The fortress of solitude
0(0.0%)
Thomas Hardy, Tess of the d'Ubervilles
1(25.0%)
Stephen King, any Bachman book (I've got all five there but never got to them XD)
0(0.0%)
Some Kurt Cobain biography I've had there for three months
0(0.0%)
(This are not meant for the beach.... for that I've already got a couple XD)

(And yes i was just dying to make some poll XD)

This done, I'm doing a meme (tagged by alles_aus_liebe )

List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, how much they are old whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now.
Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

1 Mama Cass Elliot, Make your own kind of music -> yeah, the one from the Lost soundtrack... but it's such a nice song, and I like the lyrics too XD
2 Keith Urban, Future plans -> teh sweetness. Gosh I should be embarassed to melt over this but..... it's so sweet TT I love it XD
3 Yahweh , U2 -> ok, I'm not too much into this-era-u2 and I kinda preferred Bono when he was a singer and not trying to save the world and I don't think that their last record was at 80s levels, but this song is just a gem. I love the lyrics, the music is great too and just shines to me XD (and shows that they still kick ass, when they want to XD)
4 For you, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band live @ Main point -> Just breaks your heart in two. Bruce is Bruce, and I've said all.
5 Tin Pan Valley, Robert Plant & the Strange Sensation -> Just a great one. Starts hypnotic and oriental and ends hard rocking. And Robert's voice... -> XQ__
6 Out of the darkness, Little Steven -> he's Bruce Springsteen's first ESB guitarist and he's got a pretty amazing bunch of solo stuff, also if clearly it's impossible to find... but this one song expecially it's just wonderful, it has great lyrics, the Jersey feel and... gah, Jersey rock is teh best XD
7 Summer Cannibals, Patti Smith -> this one sounds better live but I swear it gives me the chills.

So, I tag.... _izu_, flying_colours. poppy_man, rockerilla, tanya_90, glycerineclown and dorcasgustine17 in hope that she finally has some excuse to START USING HER LJ XD

You do know that B&J was made here in town, don't you? And that's when Lauren and I met Johnny, way back when... I have several bits of paper goods from the shooting, too, including storyboards and stuff.

So when you watch that movie, you're seeing my world!
