er, a couple of questions, both fic-writing related.
This stuff -> related to the infamous Dean/Castiel exchange fic.

1. Er, anyone in the US can suggest me some recognizable chain of stores where cheap clothes (not a Wal Mart, something just for clothes) get sold? I was sure I read a ton of fic with people going in a specific place and it was always the same, but since the name I remembered doesn't turn up anywhere (or at least it isn't a clothes shops chain) it means I'm probably making confusion. I'd try to come up with one on my own, but it seems like my researching skills are dead lately.

2. Point two: since my beta probably won't manage to give it a look before the deadline and I'll probably finish it by tomorrow or Saturday at worst... is there anyone else here who could give it a look this weekend? Now that I actually see the ending I can safely say it'll be 20000+ words. But since I've hit that and I just need another scene or maybe two I hope it doesn't get longer than 25000 (hi, famous last words). I probably need to work on my synthesis skills. I hope to trim it when I revise it, but I doubt I'll manage to do much about the length. And uh, trying not to give out the prompts, it's amnesia fic, it ended up nc17 and I don't think anything that requires warnings happens. Uhm, thanks in advance if anyone could! ♥ (otherwise I'll just see if someone at deancastiel is available, but since I feel more comfortable with someone I know already I'm trying here again first.)

Uh, that'd be all. *waves and runs to answer the heap of comments she has missed*

Just clothes? Assuming guy's clothes? H&M was the first thing that came to mind. (http://www.hm.com/) They might be a bit trendy though.

Men's Wearhouse has cheap suits. If you're looking to go more formal.

I can't really think of anywhere else that's not a department store (Kmart, Target, Sears, Macy's)

edit: I completely forgot about Old Navy!

Oh, thank you! Yeah, I need men's clothes and not too fancy, but I had something like Borders in mind, but then I think it's a bookshop and I just was confusing it with someplace else. I'll have a look at all the ones you said, thank you so much again!

Though I suppose that is mainly for women.

If you wanna go really cheap, like used-cheap, Value Village.

Thank you so much! I need more of men's stuff, but I'll give that and the other one a check. Thanks again!

O HAI. I'll totally look over your RA fic if you want me to. I don't particularly have a lot to do this weekend - well, except study for an exam on Monday, but pffft, whatev. Fic > school, always.

If you still need someone to help out, I'd be more than happy to give it a read. Just sayin'.

Also, clothes: Ross (though it's mostly women's), Old Navy (♥), Target (dept store but with tons of clothes), Kohl's. If I think of any more I'll letcha know.

OH HAI THERE, YOU SAVED ME. Or that fic. Or whatever, because I'm almost done and if you can have a look at it this weekend you'll absolutely save my life. Uh, and good luck to your exam! I think I could send it to you tomorrow afternoon at latest. My e-mail is janiedean1919@yahoo.it, where could I send it?

(And yeah, goes unsaid I still need someone. ;) )

And thanks for the answers! Mm, I'm debating whether I should take Old Navy or Target. But if Old Navy is better (or from your reaction I gather it is) I might go for that one. ;)

And thank you so much!! ♥

No prob! My email is allielaine317@gmail.com, send it whenever you feel so inclined. I'll have some free time tomorrow afternoon, and most of Sunday. I can't see it taking any longer than the weekend to finish, but if by some chance I can't get it done until Monday, is that okay?

Guh, I haven't even started my RA fic yet. -.- Fml.

I vote Old Navy; the styles they have there are much more Sam'n'Dean type. :)

Monday is absolutely perfect too, no problem with that. ;) I finished it yesterday evening but I'll give it some revising before sending it over, at least I'll spare you the horrible spelling mistakes that happen when I write in English at midnight. *cough*

Aw, well, I started it like last week so yay us I guess?

Oh, good to know. *rubs hands*
