1. I am DONE with all the exchange fics. And with the bigbang. YES? Now I need to find out what does it mean to write stuff on your own, lol. In the end the D/C exchange one wasn't my first choice but I wasn't going to finish that in time, so I went for the back up plan and somewhere in the middle I started having fun with it and in the end it wasn't too bad, I guess. I just hope my recipient does like it...

2. Also, I should be caught up with all the comments I owe? Sorry for replying so late to most of them but I've had some crazy four days. From Wednesday to Friday I've slept a total amount of probably twelve hours, which probably doesn't make it too strange that on Saturday morning I woke up at 1 P.M. On Wednesday my grandparents arrived from Sicily, the train was three hours late and I ended up going to the station two times, the next day I had class at 8 AM and I had forgotten that I was supposed to go see Macbeth (which, by the way, was AWESOME. Well, the setting and everyone except the actress playing Lady Macbeth who imo completely butchered the role, but whatever) in the evening (and it was the day I was supposed to post the long-ass fic which I still was editing) so no sleep either, on Friday I had class all morning and stuff to do in the afternoon plus I had free tickets to go to a Mozart concert that evening so I wasn't going to pass it up and in the midst of it I spent most of my time driving. Which wasn't exactly good for my sanity but whatever.

3. Now some genius who is in charge of the trade union for the shopkeepers in my street (which has a LOT of shops, it's all shops actually) had this great idea of making this Sunday Christmas-special or something so there's one guy dressed up as Santa in the streetwalk in front of my window with kids sitting on his lap and stuff and next to him someone dressed as Mickey Mouse and they seem right out of Disneyland. I'm failing to see the cute factor. Also, reminds me I completely didn't do any of my Christmas shopping. Faaail.

4. I'm working through the cards. At least I've written all the addresses and I know what gets sent to whom. Now I just need to write them and finish the drabbles. Thankfully I'm at a good point.

5. I'm downloading Chuck. I decided I need a fun show even if I don't need another show and in the end I went for it also because I kind of wanted to check it out since it seems like my kind of crack. Also now that I'm done with writing I'm so checking out my Deadwood DVDs.

6. Also, has anyone seen Tom And Viv? I found out about it yesterday even if I really don't know how I didn't know that Willem Dafoe was in a biopic about T.S. Eliot since I <3 them both and it took me some six hours to download the whole thing. I just hope it's worth the effort...

7. Random: I miss the vampire porn. Also, His Prettiness + cast were meeting fans in London last day. Why do I live here, remind me? *sigh* From what I read everyone was awesome and they signed stuff and all the rest. When the hell does the vamp porn get aired here? Not that I'd watch it dubbed but you know.

8. I've seen A Serious Man. It was awesome. Coen brothers = ♥ ♥ ♥.

8. Okay, I'll be off writing cards, catching up with some fic I kept for when I didn't have to meet deadlines anymore and probably studying some.

Oh, I totally get you. I'm so drained too, I can't believe I'm finished. *cheerleads*

And yeah, I can do that! ;)

I think you'll really love Chuck. :)

It looks like my kind of thing. ;) I hope I do!

T.S. Eliot = <3, that is the truth!

IT IS INDEED. *agrees* I just <33333 Eliot so much. *sigh*

Oh I saw A Serious Man and it was so good. I'd heard mixed reviews about it but I thought it was fantastic.
the female ghost of tom joad: marlon brando *_*janie_tangerine on December 13th, 2009 11:38 pm (UTC)
I loved it so much! I think that the mixed reviews might have a thing or two to do with the ending, but I thought it was genius. And I'm still thinking about it half a week later, which means that it did work.

A Serious Man has caused a divide in my flat - I completely hated it and Eva adored it, so we keep bickering with each other about it. ;) It's quite odd, as we usually have identical taste in movies. I've never seen anything else by the Coen Brothers, though.

I hope you like Chuck. I fell behind early in S2, but it's definitely a fun, cute show.
the female ghost of tom joad: marlon brando *_*janie_tangerine on December 13th, 2009 03:17 pm (UTC)
It actually caused a divide here, too! I adored it, my mom was like 'I still need to get it but it wasn't too bad' and my dad was like 'I utterly hated it', which I guess means that at least it gets you thinking. I mean, it'd be boring if everyone thought the same thing, lol. I think that when the rabbi started reciting Jefferson Airplane I decided it was awesome, but I'm predictable. The Coen brothers did better though. I'd check Fargo or The Big Lebowski if you want some of their best stuff.

Chuck seems like the kind of crack I like. Also there's Adam Baldwin. And I need a fun show, so.. ;)

Chuck is a lot of fun. I want to see A Serious Man. I didn't know that was a Coen Brothers film. I hope you can relax soon.
the female ghost of tom joad: ILUjanie_tangerine on December 13th, 2009 11:49 pm (UTC)
I hope I do have fun! ;)

A Serious Man is a very good movie imo. And even if you don't like it you'll probably think about it for the next two days at least. And thanks! I should now. Classes are also almost over which I won't complain about.

You will love Chuck! I will die of shock if you don't. ;) It's one of those shows that never really has a bad episode and every week you're guaranteed to smile. ♥

Ha, from what I heard I probably will die of shock too if I don't. ;) ;) And aw, awesome to know! I really need that kind of show. After Pushing Daisies got canceled I never found another one and I can't have just angst (SPN), confusing angst (Lost) and pornography (the vamp porn XD). ;)

Heee, we're awesome! *high fives*

Yeah, I was! Even if I'd have done without the train being late.. ;) and ha, I have three or four drabbles to go and then I actually need to write the stuff. Oops.

1. Yaaaaaaaay! Congrats! (I so desperately want to read your bigbang fic, but I honestly haven't had a second before tonight and now I'm stuck catching up on comments/entries -- boo to working seven days a week.)

3. Hahaha, that sounds ... weirdly surreal. ;P

5. I looooove Chuck. It's so cute and fun and Adam Baldwin is awesome.

8. YES. Coen brothers -- <<<3

1) Thank you!! And ha, don't worry, after I ended up making two AM in order to write that thing and completely dismissed any other fic that ended up my reading-way I totally get it. ;) Though ouch, seven days a week? Indeed. :(

3) Pfff, that totally was. I get the Santa but... Mickey Mouse? Really?

5) Adam Baldwin is SO awesome and I need crack, so.. ;) I'll probably start watching it today.

Oh, crap - wish I'd known, London's only about 3 hours away by train from me!

I'm just about done with my shopping, wish I could feel some enthusiasm for Christmas!
