fic, Lost: It's A Long Way Down To Nothing At All (Jack/Sayid), light NC17
Title: It's A Long Way Down To Nothing At All
Rating: light NC17
Pairing: Jack/Sayid
Words: 639
Summary: “I don’t care what they said,” Jack whispers low as he pushes Sayid back against the wall of the Temple’s room with the pool, feeling like he needs closeness to say this, “you’re not dead or going dark side or whatever he means. You’re not. Hear me? Not under my watch.”
Spoilers: for early S6. Set between the premiere and 6x05.
Disclaimer: Again, Lost isn't mine.
A/N: originally written for mollivanders for the five acts meme; the prompts were worrying and sex against a wall. BTW: totally AU since I wrote it too late, probably. ;) Title from U2.

“I don’t care what they said,” Jack whispers low as he pushes Sayid back against the wall of the Temple’s room with the pool, feeling like he needs closeness to say this, “you’re not dead or going dark side or whatever he means. You’re not. Hear me? Not under my watch.”

Jack can see that Sayid is really not that convinced, but he gets a short nod in return and it should be enough; Jack should just let go of Sayid’s wrists and leave and maybe try to find someone who’ll answer him, but there’s something keeping him back. Something in the way Sayid looks at him. Something that tells him that if he goes now, he won’t have made his point.

And fuck, Jack needs to make his point. This happened because they followed his stupid plan and Sayid got shot while with him; he already got Juliet killed and that’s enough guilt resting on his shoulders, and he’s not planning on it happening again.

Not here, not now, and not with Sayid.

“They don’t even fucking know how to explain what it means,” Jack says, and they’re so close that they’re sharing air.

“Are you sure that they need to?” Sayid whispers back, and it sounds resigned or close to it.

Like he doesn’t want to react. Like he can’t react.

And Jack doesn’t really have a plan here, except trust his instinct, and even if his instinct has failed him enough times…

Well. No plan B to resort to.

He slams Sayid against the wall and crushes their lips together, and feels Sayid slightly gasp before he opens up so that Jack’s tongue can probe in. There’s something strange about the way Sayid tastes, something that Jack can’t place, but he doesn’t care, he can’t afford to care; he grips hard around Sayid’s wrists, pushing them back into the rock, hard enough that he’ll leave marks, and then finally Sayid moans as Jack bites down on his tongue. Then he feels Sayid’s hips jerk forward, searching for friction, and Jack provides it gladly. He doesn’t feel much shame in grinding his crotch against Sayid’s, feeling relieved when he realizes that Sayid is rock hard. Good. He’s fucking reacting, at least.

That was exactly what Jack was aiming for.

He keeps his hands up, pinning Sayid’s wrist so that he can’t even try to move, but judging from the way Sayid rubs against him, fast and shameless, close to desperate, he probably doesn’t even need to. It feels good though, for some reason he makes him feel more in control, and so he doesn’t let Sayid’s wrists go and thrusts his hips forward in small, fast motions as he keeps on kissing Sayid without letting him a second to breathe properly. He tries never to move his lips too far from Sayid’s mouth and his tongue reaches inside everywhere, and the more it goes on the more Sayid is trying to moan into Jack’s throat. Except that Jack swallows them all, and as Sayid jerks hard against him and shivers and buckles, obviously coming without even being properly touched, Jack moves one hand away and reaches down into his jeans. It takes a couple of strokes and he’s coming against his hand, biting his lip so that there isn’t the risk of anyone hearing; and all the time, he keeps his eyes locked with Sayid’s, and the complete indifference that was there before isn’t there anymore.

There’s something trustful and needy and dark and desperate, and Jack doesn’t hesitate before slamming Sayid’s wrist against the wall again and start kissing him again.

Sayid starts shivering again, and if it sends thrills down Jack’s spine, well, he won’t complain. He still has a point to make here, and he won’t leave before he’s sure that Sayid got it.

End.

Oooooooohhhhh! *dies*

I love how Jack made it his business to prove a point, I do. And Sayid seemed to appreciate...reaping the benefits. Hot.

Jack is one who I think likes to make his business of proving points. And I had this Jack/Sayid itch I needed to scratch since 6x03, so I kind of had to do it sometime. ;) Glad you liked it! :D

(and I got two notifications but I can only see on comment. whatever. LJ is weird.)

Thanks so much! :D Yeah, I'd have liked it better if it happened, but... eeeh, apparently we can't hope for that. Thanks again!

I was feeling nostalgic and reread your fic today. And god, 7.5 years later, I still love it! :)
